Pengaruh Variasi Kecepatan Putar dan Kedalaman Pin Terhadap Kekuatan Tarik, Kekerasan dan Struktur Mikro Hasil Friction Stir Welding Material Aluminium 5052

Friction Stir Welding adalah proses penyambungan dua buah logam yang memanfaatkan gesekan dari tool berputar dengan benda kerja sehingga menghasilkan panas mampu melelehkan diam tersebut dan akhirnya tersambung menjadi satu. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh kedalaman pin kecepatan rotasi alat FSW terhadap sifat mekanik Aluminium 5052. Variasi digunakan putar 910, 1500, 2280 rpm 3, 4, 4,8 mm. Pengujian mekanis dilakukan yaitu uji tarik, kekerasan Vickers pengamatan struktur mikro menggunakan mikroskop optik. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa semakin cepat putar, kekuatan tarik meningkat, pada 910 diperoleh 131,4 MPa 148,2 rpm.
